Dennis Kuhn | Sr. Regulatory Compliance Specialist / Drug & Alcohol Program Manager.?

Dennis Kuhn is a highly skilled professional in Operator Qualification (OQ), auditing, OSHA safety, quality assurance, training, logistics and management. Dennis joined Veriforce in 2011 as the OQ Training Developer.

Dennis has 24 years? experience in the fields of training, management, operations, logistics, and regulatory compliance.? He has worked with numerous regulatory requirements from several governing agencies including: DOT, OSHA, DOE, DOD, EPA, State and International.

While with Veriforce Dennis has been responsible for the development of OQ Common Covered Task training modules, Fatigue Mitigation training, and covered task criteria/update of written Operator OQ programs. He is currently Veriforce?s Regulatory Compliance Specialist and is responsible for working directly with over 120 Operator clients, providing support and guidance for their regulatory programs. ?Dennis also manages Veriforce?s Drug and Alcohol compliance program where he oversees contractor compliance and conducts Operator program assessments and consulting.? He is also recognized as a subject matter expert in regards to DOT Drug and Alcohol programs across the United States.? He is a reoccurring speaker and presenter at multiple Energy Associations nationwide in regards to the topic of Drug and Alcohol Compliance.? These Associations include; The Louisiana Gas Association, The Western Regional Gas Association, The Virginia Natural Gas Operators Association, The Mississippi Gas Operators Association just to name a few.

Dennis retired from the United States Air Force as Senior NCO. Dennis is a distinguished/decorated Veteran of Foreign Wars and retired honorably after 21 years from the United States Air Force as Senior NCO.? During his service, Dennis was responsible for managing over $10 Billion in assets, over 1000 people and numerous National and International Regulatory Compliance programs and conducting regulatory inspections while serving in over 10 different countries. During his service he authored and implemented the DOD wide motorcycle safety training course, and was responsible for Nuclear Training and Personnel Reliability requirements where he was awarded distinguished medals and recognized by the IG team for best practices and selected and awarded Senior NCO of the Year.? Dennis has a proven ability to lead others in high stress and demanding environments.

Dennis speaks three languages and holds several DOD certifications in government regulations and is a graduate of the American Military University and the CCAF with degrees in Accounting and Applied Science.? He is currently working towards his Master?s degree in Business Management.
